Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

Thinner - Stephen King

I think the book was cracking along better before Bill’s friend Grinelli was involved. After that the book slowed down. Also Bill sucks. His justifications for what he does when his curse is slowed down leads to a tragic ending. I wonder what happened after the book closes? Do the Romani continue moving around or die out after the old man’s death?

I do love the idea of curses and reading what happens to Bill, the judge, and the sheriff responsible for different parts of the case against Bill was interesting. Part of me initially felt for Bill until you saw that he was focused on getting back at his wife since he blamed everything on her. And his rage at her was definitely misplaced.
