Reading progress update: I've read 21%.
Good grief this book is tedious. We have the previous characters, Evie, Sam, Mabel, Jericho, Will, etc. and now new ones Ling, George, Henry, etc. and there are so far several different plots going on which I imagine in this 500 plus page behemoth will somehow intersect eventually.
“Here. Have one of these,” the man said, shoving a leaflet into Henry’s hands: KEEP AMERICA WHITE AND YOU KEEP AMERICA SAFE. THE KNIGHTS OF THE KU KLUX KLAN NEED YOU!"
