Reading progress update: I've read 20%.
Sorry not really enjoying this book. I either dislike or feel indifferent to the characters. Tartt is bouncing around too much.
Right now though the focus seems to be on Harriet and her deciding she will find out who killed her brother Robin. That would be a good thing if she wasn't seriously terrible. Being straight forward is one thing, but she's just nasty to people and seems to think that her family was better than they were.
I don't have much to say about Harriet's sister Alison. She spends most of her time sleeping and it's heavily implied that she has nightmares about what happened to her brother and she saw something.
