Reading progress update: I've read 28%.
Ehh so far I am bored. I am at 28 percent and we seem to be in the present following the daughter (Elizabeth) of a woman who has died. The second narrative is then following Elizabeth's mother (Patricia).
Elizabeth is divorced with a son living in New York. She's returned to Ireland to deal with her mother's estate. Not feeling real sympathetic to her character yet. She has a chip on her shoulder.
