Reading progress update: I've read 100%.
Solid first book, but doubtful I continue series.
I loved that the author gave us information about the location of Nantucket and all the events and festivals that take place there. And I think she also did a very good job at describing food, m clothes, everything. But I really wanted that development invested in the characters too. We get introduced to the children, but only focus on two of the kids. Two other ones get pushed off to the wayside. And then we get introduced to love interests but not really. There didn’t seem to be much romance happening either which was a shame. Three stars.
