Government drone by day and book lover and geek girl by night!
I can see why other people complained about this book. Montillo is going on about so many other things besides the main subject of the book, Jesse Pomeroy. The details she includes though in some cases are interesting, about how Boston was initially set up, etc. But going into the fire department is confusing to me. Now she's going on about Melville (which I mostly skipped) and turning her attention to "The Great Fire." When she focuses on Pomeroy and the reformation school he got sent to the book definitely got more interesting.
