Reading progress update: I've read 100%.
Huge meh. This was not very good I thought. It was an interesting idea, but honestly the flow was pretty bad. Braswell seemed intent on making this a longer story and after a while I just wanted the book to hurry up and be done with. There are additional characters that are childhood friends of Aladdin named Duban and Morgiana who were more interesting than Jasmine and Aladdin I thought. I also didn't much care for the ending.
